About the Program
Would you like to understand how your brain controls everything from movement to memory? York’s Neuroscience program dives into the brain and nervous system to help tackle real-world challenges like Alzheimer’s, depression, and brain injuries. You will explore cognition, neurobiology, anatomy, physiology, sensory systems, and health psychology.  Starting in third year, you can specialize in cellular/molecular, cognitive/behavioural, or systems neuroscience, setting you up for careers in health, research, and medicine.
Small class sizes allow you to create a community with your professors and classmates, and the research, labs, simulations and capstone project solidify what you’re learning through real world practice.
Three entry options: Neuroscience – Kinesiology & Health Science BSc (Faculty of Health), Neuroscience – Psychology BSc (Faculty of Health), Neuroscience – Biology BSc (Faculty of Science)
